Today I decided to start spring cleaning and because it was such a beautiful day and sunshine is making everything look so bright, I wanted to also take some pictures for you. I promised decorating pictures over a year ago, so it is about time... So, I live in a house that is 100 year old, little apartment that has my living room/work space/bedroom and separated kitchen. Today I thought I could clean up my living room and it feels so cozy at the moment. I have lived in a chaos almost the whole year and there hasn´t been this clean I think.. never.
I have never been this kind of clean person.. you know, the type who keeps everything in order and clean basically every day. I would like to be though. And I am really having this crush thing about minimalism that has lasted for past year also. I wish I have the energy to sell basically the half of the things I own. I don´t need to so much, I have just too much. Maybe because I am living more smaller space, I have realized how much stuff I actually have and what I really do own.
This chair is a gift from my friend, I have always wanted a peacock chair and now I have one! It is just gorgeous. It still need little bit tlc, but it still looks awesome. I really love to put some pillows to decorate it and I also bought these beautiful fake leafs last year that fits just perfectly.
So.. life happened and I moved. By myself. Just me (and my 3 cats, rip Minni). Oh my Goddess, this is still so weird. It has been a month and I feel super weird still. I have never been just by myself, it is a big learning curve. When I moved I realized how much stuff I actually own. Somehow almost everything has fitted here. I got a fleamarket table for 2 weeks (to get started) and I am gonna get rid of a lot of stuff, phew.
First I slept with the air mattress that I got from my friend.. but it got broken so I got second hand mattress. I am sorry for the quality of the pictures, I took them with my phone when it was dark (mostly) because I forgot to vlog and take pictures when it was bright outside.
I would really love to be a minimalism person, but I think I can´t never achieve that. Little part of me still hopes that it can happen but oh well.. maybe you should never say never. Like the marriage I had. I thought we would never break up. Things happen. It´s still rough, I keep myself busy and try not to think about it. But real world is still there. Trying to figure out who I am and what I want in life is super big thing for me. I want to achieve a lot this year. New changes are still coming. First of all I want to be single the whole year. Let´s see how that will go. I have never been single longer than few months.
I have this image in my head how I want my life to be now and in the future. I feel that I am changing. My apartment look is even gonna change. You can see everything is basically black right. Well, in the future everything is going to be full of color. Gosh, I love my idea of bohemian, colorful, different kind of home.. which is still me. Just different side of me. You guys are gonna see so much decoration stuff in my blog.

Pink time! I chose pink to be the first color in the new home. I am super happy about the results I had with the paint.
And here is the situation today. A lot of stuff is already find their place and This is starting to look like a home. You can also see a little kitchen project, the chair is gonna be the same pink as the table. I really wish I will find a new tv soon. If you have one that you want to get rid of, let me know.
I also made a new look for a foot stool that is also second hand. I just love the fabric. I found it on Eurokangas, it costed me 11 euros and I still have left overs, don´t know what to do with them tho. Ideas? Pillows, tablecloth, or what?
But yeah, back in business with the blog, I have a lot of new stuff for you guys, can´t wait!

-July started with a haul lookbook about new colorful clothings. At midsummer festival we decided to be in our summerhouse and there was so much Jani´s mom old clothing she said we can throw away or keep. I took a bag full of new autumn goodies with me. This pumped me up with colorful clothing. I don´t even mind some of the clothes are broken, I patch them up or keep them as they are. Some reason I like the fray and torn up look. Now I am in love with all of the fall colors: red, orange, yellow, green and brown. I after many years, I am not afraid of using color in my outfits. Finally, they make me happy, like clothing should do.
-I started a challenge to draw or paint for 31 days, but this lasted only 8 days until I forgot to do it. Damn it. But I made many paintings that I really like and I think I improved my skills a bit. I really love the girl with the moon and sun jacket, I used my golden pen for it, it shines so lovely.
-I found new Youtube channels, mainly Van life based. I started obsessing about it. Now I have dream to have my own van and travel across Finland and maybe even in other countries.
-I made my first sketchbook tour, this was so exiting thing to do. I have 2 other ones coming up.
-I was in a party at our workplace. It was such a fun night. So much dancing.
-I was at the friends wedding. It was epic day. Again, so much dancing, drinking and oh so much fun. Best wedding I have ever been. I also had a fake fur jacket which I used the whole night. I got questions like: "Are you goth?" and "Are you a witch? Aren´t witches bad?" But I had my game face on.

-Lumous. Again, an amazing experience. Best time I have had in this year and I got to have my best friends with me.
- I had an awesome hike.
-I got bucket full of flowers from my friend. Our bedroom smelled like a flower shop for a week. I even decorated my altar (you can see the old altar in the picture) in totally new one because the flowers.
-And here is my new altar with all the stuff I got from pagan market at Tampere I went with Laura.
-I went for a date. Sadly I didn´t take picture of the food or my outfit, both looked awesome btw. But my outfit will probably be in my upcoming lookbook of my summer style.
-For our 6th wedding anniversary, we went to our summerhouse and had oh so much good food, drink, sauna and because I have a thing for cleaning at the moment, I did some cleaning too.

I have started to collect some light blue, turquoise and light green items in our summerhouse. I really love those colors, but now at home. This is awesome way to show my colorful side and enjoy it in a place where I am so happy.

My month was awesome, really can´t wait what happens in August.
What inspires me the most at the moment is my witchcraft. When I think about nature, wicca, witchy things and all the little details, I just feel me the most. It is very empowering feeling. This year feels so good, all the vibes are just right and everything seems to work the way I imagine it. All the photoshoots goes so well, my way to working life is doing great, my new meds are working and I don´t just cry all the time.. I have this amazing energy in me which I want to use in creative way.
Imbolc (pagan Sabbath which you celebrate 1.-2.2.) has inspired me to do more crafts and even decorate my home in Sabbath colors and make some certain mood in our home. To me Imbolc represent white, the white snow is so pure, there is no negativity, it is like new sheet of paper, you can write or draw anything you like. Pinterest came my life again in such a big way and I fell in love with the ideas of minimalistic in decor, just little details that makes the atmosphere. Candles, white, curtains, white. I really love the old jars that has been waiting for some new use for my crafting projects, but actually they look perfect as candle holders. After I took these pictures I washed more jars so now our table in living room will be the same mood.
This sabbath inspires me to white goth style and channel some moon energy. I am so into crystals at the moment, I just wish I have money to buy more. I want to learn more about them and make my home energy to have more flow to it. Also I am interested how to use them in healing or in my own personal life. Any gem fans out there?
I also started few bigger projects I will show you after I am done with them, but the beginning/ test run you can see in the window. Last Imbolc I gathered some wood from the forest and I finally got some string and I want some big witchy decor on my walls that I have made myself. There is also coming some dreamcatchers and paintings that I have been thinking on putting to the walls. I am so hyped about this month, can´t wait to show what else I have been doing! I am so gonna celebrate Imbolc the whole month.
